Big Bird FOR THE WIN. I love how Caroll Spinney both stayed in character and had some fun at the same time. There's a syndicated episode in which Big Bird was asked "What do you get when you mix the colors yellow and blue?" The time's-up horn sounded, and Big Bird started yelling "Don't look at me!" (Oh, and the time Oscar was the Secret Square TWICE - and both contestants won! :D)

Big bird and Paul Lynde on the same show... I imagine Paul had to be toned down; his sense of humor rocked, but then bring in kiddie icons... Match Game did the same thing when it jumped the shark too...
